Such an enlightening read! I'm currently reading a book titled Cynical Theories (by Helen Pluckrose and James Lindsay) which really explains the issues of individualism within queer groups, especially at an activist level. It's almost as if some queer people yearn to be as far from normal as possible.

Personally, I feel many queer people should tone down the way they express their identity. Does everyone need to know what body parts or personalities you desire?

I'm all for labels, don't get me wrong, but I get the feeling a lot of non-queer people are getting sick of the ongoing convolution of LGBTQ identities. And it's not helping the ongoing queer movement.
