Apart from the rigmarole of coming out to every person you meet and answering ignorant questions, sometimes it is easier being gay. For one, we don’t have to deal with the patriarchy that still permeates modern society. Men know what men want, and women know what women want.
There’s no separation of the sexes.
Which, on some level, makes finding sex so much easier. I don’t have to worry about wasting money on a date when I can browse Grindr for a potential fuck. Just share some niceties and then get down to business. Are you top or bottom? What do you like? Can you host? See you in 20 minutes!
If I were straight, I’d worry too much about finding the right girl; about furthering the family line. And then, when my gay mate hits on me, I’d refrain myself, fearing the repercussions. As if liking cock is a bad thing.
Perhaps that is why I love being gay. Because I’m so attuned to my sexuality that I don’t actually care if women hit on me. I’ll assure them I’m gay, and yet savour the flattery. Because it’s nice to be fawned over.
It’s so easy to get sex in the gay world because we don’t fear each other like women do of men. We don’t carry keys between our knuckles at night. And yet, being lesbian is more accepted in most countries than being gay. But that shouldn’t be surprising considering straight men love lesbian porn.
I have yet to meet a woman who openly faps over gay porn.
And far too many men treat women like prized assets rather than mutual physiological stimuli. Which explains why women still prefer the date before sex. To weed out the wankers. To find Mr Right, even if he is right now.
Dear men: it may come as a surprise to you, but sometimes women want raging NSA sex just like we do. But please make sure you treat her well and don’t lie on your resume. Also, communication is key!
But, I digress. Because I know what you’re thinking. Is it really that easy to be gay? Well, on a sexual level, it really is.
But if you were to ask me what it’s like living as a gay man, I’d tell you a different story.
