Oh, I reckon you'd love to read a book called Fabulosa! It is written by Paul Baker, who documents the now-oblique gay language called Polari. It was more of a coded language than an actual language, but it's interesting how it grew and then sequentially fell into oblivion. Yet, a lot of the words used back then are still used today.
