I’m not saying we’re all omnisexual. Please, don’t put words in my mouth. I’m saying that sexuality is not concrete. At least not for everyone. There’s a fluidity. Of course, as you say, there are people out there who will claim their sexuality without knowing what it’s like to be with the opposite or the same sex. Most are agreeable, as we have to accept that there will be people who just cannot be attracted to a certain sex. But we cannot continue to say that sexuality is black and white when it is clearly not. Not for everyone, at least.
I could attempt to have sex with a woman, but I know that I won’t like it. Just like I could eat tomato, a fruit I just can’t stand, and still not like it. I’m sure you could attempt to sleep with a woman, and I’m fairly certain you won’t like it either. But for most of us, sexuality is not as simple. Bisexuality is the silent majority. And that’s why sexuality is fluid.
Stop making this personal, when I’m not making it personal. You can choose whatever identity you want, based on whatever facts you wish. It’s your life. But not everyone is a golden gay like you. Platinum if you were born via C-section…
