How To Have Sex Safely During Covid
While abstinence is by far the best way to avoid viral infections, let’s face it: a pandemic doesn’t dampen the libido. If it did, we’d have refrained from sex during the HIV epidemic. And while a mutual jerk-off sounds like great advice, we all know that another person’s hand (or mouth) is better.
So, rather than waste time telling you to suppress your carnal appetites, I’m going to take the smarter option and tell you how to have sex safely during this Covid pandemic.
Stick to one sexual partner
The best way to avoid spreading sexually transmitted infections is by sticking to one sexual partner. Because if you were to catch anything, you can’t spread it to anyone else. Of course, with Covid, it’s not that simple. Even if you catch Covid from your regular fuck buddy, you can still spread it elsewhere just by leaving the house. But, you must remember that the likelihood of catching something from one fuck buddy is less than if you’re screwing more.
Also, prior to finding a new regular fuck buddy, be sure to ask them if they’ve been to any hotspots or if they’re feeling fluey…
Consider using glory holes
If you are a fan of hooking up with random strangers, you should consider using glory holes. At least that’s the advice from the Canadian government. The reason for this is it adds a barrier between face-to-face contact, where Covid droplets can spread via saliva and heavy breathing.
Side note: if you’re not breathing heavily during sex, you’re doing it wrong!
Of course, some studies suggest that Covid-19 could be transmitted through semen, but this is still yet to be proven. To be on the safe side, give yourself a pearl necklace instead of a facial.
Wash yourself
While most of you hopefully do this, regardless of a global pandemic, it must be said that the next best way to avoid spreading the virus is by washing yourself before and after sex. Especially your dangly bits that have just been inside another person’s mouth.
And yes, don’t forget to wash your hands. You don’t know where they’ve been!
