Believing In Yourself

A poem.

It seeps in,
Serenading;
Scintillatingly synched.

It powers up,
Interweaving
The way things should be linked.

You're the one,
Reminiscent;
With effervescent dreams.

You're the dreamer,
Incandescent;
Exploding at the seams.

Catch it now
Don’t let it drown,
but cherish it like wine.

Swirl it around,
Swallow it down,
A drop that’s so divine.

Don’t let go,
Do not give up,
Your dreams are always here.

They will endure,
Flooding your cup
Of everything but fear.

You can’t fall
With all this hope,
You just can’t let it die.

Embrace it all,
Cast out that rope,
And, darling, you will fly.

Believing
In your self, well
That’s intoxicating.

It’s a feeling,
a casting spell.
It’s invigorating.

Hold this thought,
Let it amass
And never let it go.

Leverage it
Pump it with gas
And give them all a show.

It’s your strength,
A growing crop,
Revitalising wealth

So savour it
And never stop
Believing in yourself
